In the heart of the Valencian neighborhood of Ruzafa, where the buildings seem to whisper stories from another time, our studio is located. A few weeks ago, a photographer burst in, whose lens transforms reality into visual poetry.
She is Mel Beulich, a German-born photographer whose eyes see beyond the obvious. Mel has managed to capture the essence, the spirit that inhabits every corner of our studio. Her photographs are not mere representations of objects, but poems of light and shadow, silent verses that speak of the artist’s soul and their work.
Our workspace has become the perfect stage for the silent dialogue between Mel’s camera and the tools, jewels, and objects we work with. Mel moves like a shadow, seeking that perfect moment where inspiration meets the magic of light.
At the end of the session, the studio seems to breathe a different air. Mel’s photographs have captured not only the essence of the place but also the soul of the artist. In those portraits of light and shadow, in those visual poems, lies a profound truth: art, in all its forms, is an incessant quest for beauty and meaning.
